Louie

If you're looking for a cat who will absolutely adore you, Louie may be your guy. This loving, social boy is all about his people. Once Louie knows he is loved and cared for, he bonds quickly and deeply-and if he could somehow meld himself right into his favorite person, he probably would!

Louie is an affectionate, devoted companion who loves laps, pets, cuddles, and simply being wherever you are. He'll happily join you on the couch, curl up with you in bed, and even try to hold hands or wrap himself around you while he sleeps. If you happen to stop petting him before he thinks you should, don't worry-Louie has solutions. He may push his head into your hand or even pull your arm toward him so he can help get those pets started again!

He also loves being picked up and thrives on praise and attention. Tell Louie he's a good boy and he's very happy to hear it. He's smart, well-behaved, has excellent litter-box habits, and even cooperates for things like nail trims and baths.

Louie also has a wonderfully mischievous, playful side. He has plenty of energy and needs a person who will make time for interactive play and keep his clever mind entertained. When he's ready for some quieter entertainment, he loves sitting at the window and watching the world go by.

And then there's food. Louie loves food! Even with a full bowl-or immediately after finishing a meal-he may sit nearby watching you eat, just in case something delicious happens to fall his way.

Louie will be happiest with someone who wants a cat to be a real part of their everyday life. He isn't looking to be a quiet cat in the background. He wants interaction, playtime, affection, companionship, and a person who enjoys having a cat with a big personality and an even bigger capacity for love.

Louie may do best as an only cat, at least initially, where he can settle in and build that special bond with his person.
